Glenn Richie 10,000 miles, $10,000, 365 days in support of Project Hero helping Service Members, Veterans, and First-Responders heal from PTSD, Injuries, Illnesses, and Traumatic Brain Injuries.
Dear Family and Friends,
The riding I did in 2017 was for me! It helped me overcome some of the affects of PTSD and Traumatic brain Injury (TBI) while learning to cope with others. In 2018, my goal is to ride 10,000 miles, but not for me. This year I will ride in honor of others who can't but would; who can but won't; who can and will, and most importantly for those who made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country. I am humbly asking you to support my cause by making a donation of any amount. So far, I've ridden over $3,000 miles and raised $5,500.
I will donate 100% of the funds I raise to Project Hero, a Non Profit organization helping Service Members, Veterans, and First Responders recover from injuries, illnesses, and behavioral health issues through cycling and many other programs. Please take a moment to review their Mission Statement at Projecthero.org On a personal note, this organization and it's members have helped me set and achieve goals, regain self-esteem, push through mental and physical pain, make new friends, and most importantly provide me the necessary resources to heal. In 2018, I want to give back. My desire is to use my gift and love of cycling to help others who continue to suffer in silence from the horrific affects of PTSD and TBI. Each month, I will post the progress of my cycling so we can accomplish this goal together. I thank you in advance for your support, encouragement, and donations.
Respectfully, Glenn
