Hello Everyone, 

Vicky here. As most of you know, I'm not one to ask for help, but right now I need your help raising funds and awareness for a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. Project Hero is an organization that is very special to me, and I want to help other Veterans have the opportunity to get involved with this life-changing organization. 

A little bit about me and how Project Hero has changed my life: 

I am a 22 year Army Veteran who retired in 2014 due to combat injuries. My duties have spaned from  as a Human Resource Manager in Division Artillery at Ft. Campbell,  KY and  Ft. Stewart, GA, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division and as a Adjuant General while stationed in Japan. I have worked with AWG on several deployments and as sniper with the 2ND BCT while in Iraq. I have served as an Inspector General, as well as the Commander of the quick reaction force for the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division while in Iraq.

After I was released from the hospital I was stationed at in Ft. Gordon, GA to complete my medical recovery from my combat injuries. Because of my injuries I have had many trials and tribulations that have negative affected my life. I wish I had the time and ability to express the battle I now fight in my head every second on my life. I joined Project Hero in 2015 and have never looked back. Project Hero has helped changed my life and helped me to make friendships and bonds that have kept me alive. I can trully say that when I am riding or at another Project Hero event I am with my peers and other who care enough to give their time to support Project Hero's mission. 

When I go on a Project Hero Challenge, it is more than an event for me. The Challenges create a sense of community, camaraderie, and show us veterans that we are NEVER alone! 

Please help me with raise money and awareness for Project Hero. The more we raise, the more veterans can take part in these life-changing experiences!
